What is Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)?

SEBI has mandated an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) mechanism for all SEBI registered intermediaries to provide investors with a fast, transparent, and cost-effective way to resolve disputes related to securities market transactions.

The ODR platform — SMART ODR (smartodr.in) — is an industry-wide platform for resolution of investor disputes through conciliation and/or arbitration facilitated by SEBI recognised bodies.
